It is a new school year and the main character named Greg finds himself thrown into middle school, where undersized weaklings share the hallways with kids who are taller, meaner, and already shaving. The hazards of growing up before you’re ready are uniquely revealed through words and drawings as Greg records them in his diary. Greg and his best friend Rowdy start off as great friend, but Rowdy becomes popular and their friendship could be in jepordy. This is an exxcellent book for children starting out Middle School as the small children.

Henry, Jessie, Violet and Benny are all orphans that are trying to make it on their own. They live in an old red boxcar and make it their home. They are called the Boxcar Children. They also live with a dog named Watch. During this graphic novel the eldest boy goes out and finds a job at a doctors house. When the one sister gets sick, he brings the children to the doctors house to get help. The doctor then realizes these were the missing children and called their grandfather to meet them. They were afraid that their grandfather was going to be mean but he was very nice because in the end, they all missed their old home, so he go the boxcar delivered to his house, so they could go live there anytime they wanted.
